Dry Link® keyed couplings (sizes 2", 3" and 4") are now available for use in batch process plants for the production of specialty chemicals, and on manifolds to prevent accidental cross-contamination!

HOW THE KEYING SYSTEM WORKS

Each Coupler (Style 250) and Adapter (Style 260) has a key on each side of the unit.

The Coupler keys are designated 1F, 2F, 3F, 4F, etc and the Adapter keys 1M, 2M, 3M, 4M, etc. These references are stamped on the keys themselves.

A key (e.g. 1F) is fitted to the left-hand side of a coupler and one to the right-hand side (e.g. 2F) to give the coupler a unique designation 1FL/2FR. This designation is given a letter code, in this case Key B.

Several letter codes, ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’ etc, cross-referencing these designations to our key codes can be produced providing a wide range of keys. The keys are field removable and replaceable. Keyed units will not fit standard unkeyed units.
